For small spaces such as RVs or boats, nesting cookware just makes sense….
Space is always at a premium inside our Shadow Cruiser travel trailer, especially, it seems, in the galley kitchen area so our nesting cookware gives us more bang for a very small buck. Storage space is at an even higher premium so, when I found nesting cookware, I knew I’d hit the mother load. I store our cookware set right inside the oven when we’re camping.
So, what exactly is nesting cookware? It’s a set of pots, pans, saucepans, lids and handles that fit within each other – the lids and handles are interchangeable. Most nesting cookware sets have 3 saucepans, a larger stockpot, and a skillet along with a few lids and handles that are interchangeable. So, instead of having to store 4 or 5 pieces of cookware separately, the cookware just fits together in one neat packet – generally about 1/2 cubic foot in size.
You can find nesting cookware that is made of stainless steel (for regular stoves) or for induction cooking. It also comes in regular inside finish or non-stick.
Here’s some of the best nesting cookware sets I could find on Amazon.com. All of these sets have at least a 4 out of 5 customer rating:
